The limits of connections and lookup #951
Comments
By the way, here's another suggestion. It would be perfect if there were a quicker way to reference the document on the current page in smart chat. Instead of clicking with the mouse and typing the current file name, a fixed command could be used for current page note. |
Really grateful for your work, smart connection has been super helpful for me |
Hi @millergit521 and thanks for bringing this to my attention. I'm labelling this as both a bug and enhancement, the former regarding the limit issue, and the latter for the improved Smart Chat functionality. And happy to see that Smart Connections has been helpful for you 😊 |
Looking forward to the update 😊. I was wondering if there is any documentation for the filter? I’m not quite sure how to use it. |
Some common filter scenarios: Only showing smart blocks or smart sources, filtering based on tags, or filtering based on a specific YAML property or filtering based on file name |
Or filtering based on folder, path. And I think if filters can be stored will be great. |
In the settings, I attempted to configure the limits on the number of connections and lookups within the smart connection feature. However, the quantity limits specified in the configuration only apply to the filter limits. The actual restrictions stem from the function call of collection.look_up in env.smart_sources within the dependencies. As a result, I am unable to exceed the limits of 50 related articles and 10 smart lookups. So, how can I break through the limits of 50 and 10?Thanks for your help.
