Hey,

I tried to run cabal-cli and got the error, then did a fresh npm install -g cabal but the error is still there. 2 more people tried and got the same error. 2 of us are on Linux Mint, but for the third person, I sadly don't know about their system. thanks for the help nina & everyone! this has been fixed with the new releases of cabal-core/client and cli. the version of cabal-cli that has this weird issue fixed is [email protected]!
