Access to data in OCELOT database

Does the API provide a way to access the database?
I've read the documentation, and I understand that there is a REST API through which the data can be accessed (https://oscar-docs.as.uky.edu/restapi/), but I didn't understand how exactly to download the data. Could you please provide an example on how to use the REST API?

I'm sorry for not getting back to you sooner. We are working on including access to the database with the API. In the meanwhile, you can use the REST API example at https://github.com/vinayak2019/ocelot_api/blob/master/OCELOT_REST.ipynb. I hope this helps.
