In order to ensure replicability of our results when reaching tracking data, data needs to be stored securely for at least 5 years. I would be interested in best practices around data storage.

That's a very good point! I'm guessing that's largely a legal/tech problem. I, for one, am sure that I don't know how to do this properly without violating some regulation.

Do we have anyone with experience on this issue, willing to take a lead in heading the discussion?

Great!

I recall you also mentioned having quite some experience with related legal aspects (through making PDK GDPR compliant and such). Would that be part of this topic, and if not, would it make sense to merge it? (Secure and legal storage?)

It may be worth combining with the legal aspects if we broaden the technical side to include transmission and auditing as part of the discussion.
