The response from Twitter is always "available" even when the username is taken.
For example, this call: https://checkerapi.com/check/twitter/apple
Returns this:
{ "service": "twitter", "username": "apple", "status": "available", "timestamp": 1619086352039 }
Your API is saying the username "Apple" is avilable, but obviously it is taken. The same result happens no matter the username.
