Are insert and delete operations supported?

It doesn't support INSERT and DELETE commands yet. However, it supports loading data using COPY command.

Supporting INSERT, DELETE, and UPDATE is in our long term roadmap.

yeah, please write it somewhere, I've just spent and hour figuring out, why inserts don't work and what I could have possibly done wrong

So I'll keep this open documentation clarified?

I added the related note to the "Usage" section of the README file, and also to the "Requested Features" of the TODO file.
