What exactly is a Tavus Persona?
A Tavus Persona is a customizable AI character that defines the behavior, voice, and appearance of your digital agent. By specifying attributes such as the system prompt, context, and layers—including language models (LLMs) and text-to-speech (TTS) engines—you can tailor the Persona to fit specific roles, like a storyteller or customer service representative. This flexibility allows developers to create engaging, context-aware interactions within their applications.
With Tavus's APIs, you can:
- Create a Persona: Start with Santa or create a completely new character (make sure to include santa's Replica ID:
r3fbe3834a3ein your new Persona). Create a new Persona via API via API or in the Tavus Platform. - Customize: Edit your Persona’s greeting, conversation context, and more.
- Deploy: Integrate the demo into any React project for a scalable experience.
