With older version of cmder (git version was 1.9.4, do not know the cmder version, but 1-2 years old) installing git-lfs (https://git-lfs.github.com/) works like a charm: restart cmder and git lfs is available as a new subcommand.

With the current version the LFS installation is not found. Resulting in a non-working LFS environment. I do not want to use a seperate git installation, the cmder provided version is just perfect. But the git version should consider the LFS installation as well. I don't know why it is ignored.

Windows restart fixed the issue.

Sorry for the noise!
