We profile the Rust server repository for https://hedgehog.app/, a robo-adviser app. The Hedegehog team has graciously shared their repo with me to profile. Because it is closed source, we do not provide as much granular information as for the other projects profiled in this repo.
Our modded compiler is 40% faster than the default compiler. We shrank incremental build time from 19.27 to 11.66 seconds. Attached below is the analysis/report.
Now that we have implemented a benchmarking script at ../scripts/benchmark_incremental_builds_hedgehog.sh, we trust these results more (as it averages across 5 runs) and use those timing figures above. Below is the output of that script:
