This is important! From http://choosealicense.com/no-license [1]:

You’ll have to check with your own legal counsel regarding your particular project, but generally speaking, the absence of a license means that default copyright laws apply. This means that you retain all rights to your source code and that nobody else may reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from your work.

Did you intend for this code to be open source? If so, can you upload a license, or point me to it?

Thanks!

btw, the setup.py does classify this as having a BSD License. A license file definitely needs to be added, but at the very least, there is a license.

@tomchristie: I am trying to push this package to conda-forge, but you haven't included license. Can you please add that.

Hey @sannykr, @tomchristie , i haven't checked here first, only on conda-forge and have submitted a PR to add this package . And yep, they do require a LICENSE file. So it would be highly appreciated if #14 could be merged.

Please do add a license. Even though the setup.py lists BSD as the license, it isn't clear who owns the copyright
