these just map to this repository?

They map to wherever the repository is located, which is the beautiful thing. The repo can change at any moment and the import URLs will remain fixed, allowing devs to not have to worry about it.

Closing as this seems to be ready to go. The module is already called cosmossdk.io/core in its go.mod
