Is it possible to save some custom data to a licence from a module?

The 3 events available don't seem to cater for this - I want to add an expiry date on the licence, which would depend on the expiry of the previously purchased licence.

Currently, licenses don't support custom fields. It does, however, make sense for them to do - if only to add notes to manually generated licenses.

I'll see if I can add this sooner, rather than later, as Digital Products should have a new release with Project Config support. Might as well manage to add this to the list.

That's great, I'll figure out a workaround for now.

Thanks @andris-sevcenko.

I would like to add my vote to this feature request. It would be very useful to be able to associate data to licenses both in the CP and programmatically.

Is there any timeline on this? I've held off from implementing an alternative in hope it would be available soon! Totally appreciate it will be on your list amongst many other things - just want to see if it's worth holding out a bit longer.

+1 on being able to add custom fields to licenses. My use case right now is for adding an expiry date.

In the short term I've been getting around it by adding expiry dates to orders that are related to licenses. Seems unnecessarily expensive though.

+1 for this.

Do you have maybe any progress?
