Is there any reason Instant ID could not use Tensor RT version of InsightFace to detect (not recognize) faces?

Here's my understanding so far:

  • antelope uses retinaface-10gf for face detection
  • InsightFace-Rest supports a Tensor RT version of RetinaFace R50
  • I can't find whether R50 is better or worse than 10gf
