On Linux , it's not showing recently connected devices as sane is already initiated.and when I set saneoption keepSaneInitialized = false it crash/ shutting down the application after getdevicelist

As whenever we put keepSaneInitialized= false it should not crash app after getdevicelist

  • OS: Ubuntu 22.04

Yeah, the solution here is to allow a worker process to be used for SANE, which I have not implemented yet for the SDK but plan to. Crashing with KeepSaneInitialized = false isn't really avoidable on my end as the crash is coming from SANE.

@cyanfish cyanfish changed the title keepSaneInitialized = false , crashing/shutting down app on linux SDK: Worker process for SANE Jan 26, 2025
