Open Suggestions for "@" Symbol within the Text #131

When typing within the text, the "@" symbol doesn't trigger any mention suggestions. Normally it's working fine

Additional Information:
"react": "16.13.1"
"react-native": "~0.63.4",

It's now Jan 15 2025 nearly a year but this issue is still open is there any fix we can do to the internal files of the package and make it work
