In AEON would like to reuse CRO roles by subsuming 'contributor role' (CRO:0000000) under 'role in human social processes' (OMRSE:00002072) and thus under BFO:role. Now, I'm wondering of this is ok, or if there was a specific reason not to align with BFO:role and if doing so would lead to problems down the road?
As CRO is an OBO ontology, I assume this to be ok, but wanted to make sure that this is supported by the CRO team's design decision.
I'd be very grateful, if you could give me feedback on this.
