Is this a new bug in dbt-snowflake?

  • I believe this is a new bug in dbt-snowflake
  • I have searched the existing issues, and I could not find an existing issue for this bug

Current Behavior

tests.functional.adapter.test_basic.TestSingularTestsEphemeralSnowflake.test_singular_tests_ephemeral fails

This could be related to the sqlparse issue in dbt-core.

Expected Behavior

All integration tests pass.

Steps To Reproduce

Run integration tests against 1.1.latest
Look at results for Ubuntu/Py39

Relevant log output

https://github.com/dbt-labs/dbt-snowflake/actions/runs/4732380858/jobs/8405305024

Environment

- OS: Ubuntu
- Python: 3.9
- dbt-core: 1.1.4
- dbt-snowflake: 1.1

It looks like this is related to dbt-labs/dbt-core#7396, and should be resolved with this backport: dbt-labs/dbt-core#7402.

This test is no longer failing. There is no relevant work in this repo as the issue was addressed as noted above. Hence I'm closing this.
