hello,

Thank you for your analysis tools of grand-conv!

however, I don't know how many parameters and what means about these parameters in the grand-conv tools.

I am looking forward to your help!

Hi there,

The basic usage is given in the examples in Readme.md and a list of available parameters is provided in the headers of both gc-estimate and gc-discover. Some of the basic parameters are simply inherited from PAML, since GrandConvergence is built on top if it.

We are preparing to push an updated version of the program and will include some better documentation then. In the meantime, are there specific parameters you need help with?

Thanks,
Jason

Hi Jason,

Thank you so much for your help! And I am looking forward to the updated version!

I have no more question about parameters, but I want to know if gene was not single copy and had many paralogs, can this program deal with it ?

Thanks,
Jiang-Ping
