When set to a low or black RGB value, Wiz bulbs instead stay on to the last light value they were previously set to, in entertainment mode. The app (Hue Essentials and the web UI) shows the bulbs as turned off when the entertainment color is set to black, despite them staying on. When entertainment is set to black, the app can control the light brightness, color, and on/off state without entertainment mode stopping, which the lights update to. I have two WIz bulbs which have the same behavior.
Set up entertainment mode with Wiz lights. To test, I have been using Razer Synapse, which connects to the bridge and works with entertainment mode seamlessly.
Once Synapse is set up, in Studio mode set some test, like a Wave effect on the lightbulb(s). Now go into the Hue menu in Synapse, and change the global brightness slider to the off position, or disable the global brightness via the switch. Observe the lights staying on and staying at the last set color instead of turning off or changing colors. If you changed the brightness to 0, gradually increase it until the light changes color, and it should dim to the brightness set and start changing color again.
Additionally, you can set in studio mode a color pattern that's black, with a static color, and the same thing applies.
Although I didn't test this behavior with another entertainment program/app, I have no reason not to think it's an issue with Synapse, as the log files show that entertainment is receiving an RGB value of 0,0,0 in this test.
