PhyloRank calculates RED by rooting a tree on each phyla with at least 2 classes. It is a requirement that your tree have at least 2 such phyla. In general, PhyloRank is meant to be run on a domain wide tree where there are multiple phyla meeting this requirement.
When I calculate the RED values , PhyloRank can't recognize taxa information. Even though I used the example_data, I still got an error.
But when I use the decoration function, there is no problem.
