Hey @VBAndCs - this is all great! I would definitely recommend you put something like a "History" section or something along those lines in your README of the repo so when folks come to check it out they have the whole backstory.

Also, I created and merged the PR associated to this issue to get a link to your repo in our README! Again, great work and thanks for the contribution!
