XML Documentation Comment Inherit bug with nullable generic parameters

There is a very obscure bug with XML documentation comments when using nullable generic arguments and inheritdoc.

This works (nullable string argument):

This works (non-nullable generic argument):

This doesn't work (nullable generic argument):

CS1574: XML comment has cref attribute 'ExampleMethod{T}(T?)' that could not be resolved

Code that doesn't work:

/// <summary>
/// Example
/// </summary>
public void ExampleMethod<T>(T? test) {

}
/// <inheritdoc cref="ExampleMethod{T}(T?)"/>
public void ExampleMethodInheriting<T>(T? test) {

}

Note that the Visual Studio IDE recommends the non-working code when you use CTRL + Space:
