Tried everything I could to recover the CAT6 cable:
Cut off both terminals (which were damaged) and painstakingly stripped and crimped new connectors onto both ends. Tested the cable with both testers and devices and nothing.
My guess is that it’s faulty (broken by being forced/pulled too hard through the conduit…)
so I’m going to stop wasting time on this and head to the electronics store and pay for a factory-tested cable. 💸
