The key differences are in the Processor (A10X vs A10X) and RAM (4Gb vs 2Gb)
The A10X has more cores than the A10 so it can do more heavy lifting when needed:

iPad Pro 10.5" 2017 arrived and is miles better than iPad Mini in every way. 🙌
It's definitely not "Grade C", there isn't a mark/scratch on it and the screen is flawless no dark/bright spots at all. 🎉

Yes, I know that Apple is going to announce a new iPad Air soon ... ⏳
but I guarantee it won't be as cheap as what I paid for the Pro with 512GB of storage! 💭
And if they remove the TouchID it will be useless to me as I don't want to have to use FaceId if the device is mounted in the Teleprompter! I want to have TouchID so that I can single-touch auth. 🔏

The iPad mini will now be the "Home Media" device connected permanently to the AV system with Netflix, Amzn Prime, etc.
Might actually create a separate iTunes/iCloud account just for "media" consumption ... 🤔

Anyway, the iPad Pro is excellent and exactly what I need for this purpose. 👍
