The pronunciation is jie2, and the corresponding traditional form is U+28942(𨥂), so the phonetic element, the right component must be 孑 not 子.
I think it's not better to change the glyph at present, and we can treat U+2B4E6 as the simplified form of 釨. 𫓦 is not included in GZFY, so maybe we need to change the G ref. to G9-9838E136 or others, and China, UTC or UK should submit the real ⿰钅孑 to IRG in future.
Note that the 9838E136 glyph in the new version of GB 18030 should follow the G glyph in the code charts.
