@urso What in your opinion we should do with functionbeat, since it doesn't run on Windows. Even fact that files are installed into PrograFiles is already strange.
Functionbeat is no Beat like the other Beats. Functionbeat itself consists of multiple binaries. A 'function' binary for particular cloud providers, and Functionbeat itself, which acts as CLI management application. In this sense Functionbeat acts as an installer itself.
Installing Functionbeat via MSI would only get us a command line tool to install functions in AWS. The "ProgramFiles" directory indeed looks somewhat strange.
Currently I don't see much value in installing Functionbeat via MSI over just unpacking the zip (having binary and config close to each other).
