Describe the feature:
The Controls Visualization takes up too much screen real estate on a dashboard. Can there be a "thinner" version that would work/look like the filter bar for queries?

Describe a specific use case for the feature:
Same functionality - just more efficient use of screen resources.

I'm currently using this control and I would just like something thin at the top of a dashboard that I could use.

For years the minimum width has also been too wide. Should be something closer to 180-200px. I think it is around 250 currently (it was definitely 250 in the past). See... #16664
