Are you running behind a corporate proxy? Nope
Where are you based geographically? USA
Is this a fresh install or an upgrade New install

I run the msi file, get to the end and it generates a report. Attached is that report.

Hello @marklalich, it looks like you already have Java installed and its version deemed as too old by the MSI. Elasticsearch is bundled with a JRE. Try making sure that JAVA_HOME env variable either doesn't exist or points to a current Java install.

Calling custom action Elastic.Installer.Msi!Elastic.Installer.Msi.Elasticsearch.CustomActions.Install.ElasticsearchBootstrapPasswordAction.ElasticsearchBootstrapPassword
future versions of Elasticsearch will require Java 11; your Java version from does not meet this requirement
CustomAction ElasticsearchBootstrapPasswordAction returned actual error code 1626 (note this may not be 100% accurate if translation happened inside sandbox)

EDIT: there might be more clues in the elasticsearch.log as to why es process was not able to start and listen for password bootstrap connection
