Lock your session, then enter your password to unlock it. The password is displayed on-screen.

A solution might be to disable display of keys when the session gets locked. I don't know if that can be detected easily.

Workaround: Type your password, wait 5 seconds, hit Enter. The screenkey bar will be hidden by the time it is shown.
