The user @greggman published a repository of a simple Electron app in the course of answering a Stack Overflow question (now deleted). As that user found out, going from HTML5 to Windows or macOS app with Electron is not exactly easy, which suggests to me that the documentation may need to be improved or the workflow simplified, especially for users that simply have an HTML/JavaScript page with no Electron plumbing.
