I found this a little difficult to test.

If I used my bluetooth headset with my laptop, playing call audio seemed to handle changes well. When I turned off my headset it fell back to laptop speakers. When I reconnected, it picked up playing through the headset again.

The microphone was a different matter. I couldn't seem to get Riot Web to use the headset mic whatever I did - it just kept using the laptop mic (explicitly choosing the bluetooth mic in user settings didn't have an impact).

There's the separate problem that the devices listed in user settings are (I believe) correct at the point of opening settings, but if you want to add a device to that dropdown you have to leave and return to settings to get the updated list.

I just want to say that this is still an issue to this day. If I unplug and plug back my microphone, I'll need to restart the call to have a functionnal mic.
