I have a Matrix account at matrix.org and use the IRC bridge to connect to freenode.
For some channels this works fine but for others, e.g. #nextcloud-dev I always get a popover which says "internel server error" when I enter the room. It seem that it still works in the sense that I see who is in the room, can write messages and receive new messages. For me it looks like there is a problem with loading the room history. I can reproduce this with Riot in the browser, the Riot desktop app on GNU/Linux and and Riot Android app. In the development console of the Riot desktop app I saw following error message:
