Improving plank

Well, in general there is not much wrong with plank. However, it seems it is not any more actively developed. And in my opinion, it is missing an important feature, which we know from Windows (ZorinOS implemented it): Having window previews, as shown here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8waUqBIeTTs

Unfortunately the Pull Request died: ricotz/plank#3

I personally think that this is a very useful feature and I don't really understand why it was never implemented.

So, are there any plans to move to move to another dock or develope an own dock system with more customization options to improve the workflow of heavy users?

I'm going to close this as completed since we wrote a new Dock :)
