I have been running elementary OS 5 and 6 on a Dell Precision 5530, originally ordered with Ubuntu. In a nutshell, it works well with a few quirks.

Quirks
Initially installing elementary OS required I fiddle in the BIOS settings to make sure it could initially boot; I don't recall what exactly I had to change, but it may have been UEFI or Secure Boot related.
Touchscreen has given me occasional issues; sometimes multi-touch would hard lock the entire device. I haven't seen this recently, so it's possible it was a kernel issue that has been resolved.
Bluetooth has been less reliable than other hardware. It works, but seems to be a worse connection and more likely to disconnect.
Graphics performance is a bit worse than desired especially on battery; I think the combination of a HiDPI display plus integrated Intel graphics, and then maybe some firmware-level power management means that animations and general graphics performance isn't stunning when operating on battery.
