I've had a lot of issues trying to get my controllers to work in steam games that Ubuntu users report "work perfect."
Proposal
Given that one of the strongest features that EOS has over MacOS is the ability to play games through Proton, I think taking the time to make sure that common controllers work well out of the box would be a low-effort high-yield project.

I figured out a major source of the issues (I think).
For some reason, my PS4 was showing up as a "gamepad" in steam. I don't necessarily think this should break it... if there's a way to make it work even with this setup, that's probably still worth finding.
