KDE Connect Support

I wish to have a KDE connect indicator functional with wingpanel.

There is a a repo, however the developer is no longer maintaining it.

I suggest to take a look at GSConnect as t re-implements KDE Connect protocol with no KDE dependencies

I’m with you in this. One thing I would like to see in Elementary OS is Elementary Connect. The system really needs a good implementation of KDE Connect. This is just my little mockup for wingpanel, I apologize in advance for my poor English.

Altough the current GUI implementation is horrible compared to your mockup, I'll see if i can get around to actually finish some basic implementation, like connecting to phone, and notifications sync support.

Do the devs have any desire to integrate this functionality? I would love this feature and in 2021, phone integration is a standard feature.

Sadly, not anymore guys. Changed to an iPhone recently, and changed jobs as well. So not much free time. Not sure i even have that repo anymore.

With the arrival of OS8 around the corner I am thinking about this again and wondering how it would look in the quick settings menu? As far as I know that menu does use any expanding sections but would that even be a good way to interact with it?
