Keyboard values inserted randomly - Win8.1

I installed on two different machines, both with win8.1 and one machine inserted random numbers and letters from time to time and the other machine really acted up. Keys that seemed to be inserted most were space bar, backspace, and enter. Really strange. I thought someone was remote viewing me or in control of my keyboard.

I told my friend I found an awesome tool and installed it for her via teamviewer, and it worked great for about 5 minutes and then the keyboard seemed to have a mind of its own. It got so bad that we had to remove it. Her keyboard actually went out right after we uninstalled it. Probably not related, at least I hope not.

Shortly after it gets really bad(yes, it progresses), livestyle crashes and then no more haywire keyboard.

Also sometimes when I try to end a line with ; i get this :; repeatedly.
