Doctor who has worked on the field -

  • Being able to see a patient's history would be very useful
  • a doctor would see ~100 patients a day
  • Good:chronic diseases and continuity of care, useful for healthcare professional
  • clincs UNHCR in camps - already use their own version of it,
  • meeting doesn’t have to be at transit point, not life threatening at that point,
  • doctors will use laptops if they have them, but they won't necessarily have them
  • time is very important, don't really want it to take longer. But on the other hand, if this system stops the need to redo medical history, that is a massive time gain in itself

From a Syrian

  • Syrians not too worried about data security as in family everyone know everything.
  • Having a username instead of name is a good way to provide security
  • Younger family memebers will help older ones
  • Everyone will have some sort of a smartphone
  • Younger people will have newer phones than older people
  • Once they settle refugees will all have smartphones.
