Incorrectly tab completes instead of inserting tab/softtab #111

When I press tab in an empty line or after an empty space character SuperTab is now trying to tab-complete instead of inserting a tab char (or in my specific configuration a softtab consisting of 4 spaces) as it used to.

This no longer happens if I revert the following commit:
