I would like to work into this but don't now where to start or what it's planned, would appreciate help from some maintainer

This is a very large feature which requires careful planning and long-term work, so we're unlikely accepting external contributions. We're hiring a contractor to work on this.

@yangshun ok so, still i wish to implement this through plugins but didn't investigate too much, you think this would be possible?

@wallynm it's unlikely you can achieve it entirely through plugins for the whole website. Might be possible for the docs. We want to make i18n a core feature built into Docusaurus core.
