[BUG] BCLK ignored when showing frequencies #1565
Comments
If it isn't possible to detect it, maybe it could be added as option into config to multiply frequencies with it? (if it isn't already, im not familiar with fastfetch config) |
We don't calcuate things. All these numbers are reported by kernel. You may find them in |
Oh |
no worries if that's out of scope, fastfetch is nice anyways |
oh, didn't knew that, ig i'll close the issue thanks |
Read the FAQ first
Description
It seems like fastfetch for CPU (3570k in my case) reads boost clock ratio and assumes bclk is 100mhz, this causes wrong frequency to be printed if bclk isn't 100mhz (like overclocking),
Similar issue seems to be with ram, DDR3-1867 is for example closer to 2000 with bclk of 105mhz
Would be nice if fastfetch could read overclock, it isn't much flexing for this kind of hw but still lol
Version used
fastfetch 2.36.1-43 (x86_64)
Bug prevalence
Always
Regression
No
Installation
Built from source
Package manager
from source, also tried xbps
Screenshots
(fastfetch -c all)
the cpu is actually ~4.4ghz and ram about 1950
