Lap chart is a nice plot!
The reason I wanted access to that data was to do some gapper plot and pace plot

Gapper plot example: https://www.schoolofraceengineering.co.uk/blog/post/15991/build-your-own-race-strategy-gapper-tool/

Pace plot example: https://forums.autosport.com/topic/206970-estimating-race-pace-a-statistical-model/

The website has a lot of info to manage to build some decent ones

Certainly seems like it could be doable, using lap time data such as this, although it appears even less races have this than lap charts

Did you find an example somewhere about how to work with the API or did you just reverse engineer it?

I reverse engineered it, I'm not sure if it's meant to be used publicly like this or not to be totally honest. But I found that API links get sent to the console of the browser when you load a page, so it wasn't too hard to work things out using that
