1. What is your project and what problem does it solve?

ODude Name introduces a unique naming format: username@brand, offering a unified identity system that differs significantly from traditional web3 domain names like ENS or Unstoppable Domains. With ODude Name, individuals and brands can establish a single identity for linking wallets, social handles, and decentralized profiles.

Filecoin's decentralized storage will power the secure hosting of metadata and user profiles, enhancing accessibility and data integrity. ODude Name eliminates the fragmentation of digital identities while enabling brands to mint their own Top-Level Names (TLNs) for community use.

2. How is Filecoin used in this project?

ODude Name leverages Filecoin to:

  • Store metadata and user profiles associated with username@brand securely and efficiently.
  • Enable decentralized hosting of user profiles generated via Web3Domain Studio.
  • Ensure the longevity and integrity of name metadata and NFT-linked assets.

This integration aligns with Filecoin's mission to provide robust decentralized storage while supporting a scalable, user-centric identity system.
