bugs:

• can't navigate to profiles from the friends list any more
• seemingly randomly, pages throw 502 errors and don't load. refreshing fixes them
  • the logout page errors most consistently and refreshing does not fix it sometimes fixes it (you do get logged out though)
• Chat windows remain open on friend removal/deletion #48
  • "had your chat window open" -> even if they're logged out, if they didn't explicitly close it last time they were on, they'll be greeted next login with a nonfunctional chat window
• sometimes chat windows display "[email protected]" instead of "display name"
