For some applications, a symbolic link may not be appropriate. A list of patterns that should not be linked to but copied into place will be in the script directory.

  • The copy will be done every time shared-config-init is run.
  • Checks will not be done to ensure that the old file is one created by this script: caution should be taken with the use of this feature.
  • Copies should be made with cp -ax
