cinnamon error

While I am able to setup Cinnamon in developer edition, I am not able to do the same in sandbox and get the error as in the attached screenshot.

I am also facing same issue when I try to connect to the Sandbox. Is this a know issue with Cinnamon? Or do we have any solution for this? I see this issue was reported by Susheliz on May 19th 2015 but no one has replied with any solution.
