Good Day,
I'm not sure if this is a request to the system or to the PHB2024.
One of my players has the subclass moon druid from the PHB2024, which gives him additional functions in addition to the default wild shape.
Among other things, the part with the armor class and the temporary hit points (Circle Forms). These two aspects are also recognized by the system and implemented directly. (At least through the active effect).
However, the moon druid also has the option of casting certain spells in his form. (Circle of the Moon Spells) "In addition, you can cast the spells from this feature while you're in a wild shape form."
This is not currently implemented by the system. The wild shape character takes on the spell casting abilities, but without spells. In addition, the spell slots and concentration are not synchronized when converting back.
The only workaround here is that I cast the spells from the original actor sheet, but you cant track concentration. And you quickly lose track when you have to track two sheets in parallel
It would be nice if certain spells were transferred to the wild shape character with the subclass Moon Druid (or others that have this function) and the spell slots were synchronized. In addition, concentration would also have to be transferred when converting so that this is better tracked.
I can't really get any further with the custom options, as not all options are available here either
In addition to the spells, equipment is also not synchronized, although this is sometimes difficult to implement because a distinction would have to be made between merge gear and worn gear. I think that the gear items would need an additional property for merge or worn. (Wild Shape)
"In addition, you choose whether your equipment falls in your space, merges into your new form, or is worn by it. Worn equipment functions as normal, but the DM decides whether it's practical for the new form to wear a piece of equipment based on the creature's size and shape. Your equipment doesn't change size or shape to match the new form, and any equipment that the new form can't wear must either fall to the ground or merge with the form. Equipment that merges with the form has no effect while you're in that form."
have a nice day :)
