Releases: gemforce-team/gemforce
Bugfix build
Found and fixed a big issue to a lot of programs if run under Windows.
Windows binaries were rebuilt for this.
Generic enhancements build
This build includes a ton of bugfixing from v1.4 and some huge improvements to composite gem combines, which got faster to compute, longer and more accurate.
Included is, as usual, the summary table.
I also included some binaries for Windows, I strongly advice you to compile them yourself, but the ones here are a starting kit if you really cannot figure out how (tables included are basic ones).
Final release
Hi all, 12345ieee here, I finally present the finished result of the work of psorek and myself.
The final results, the best mathematically possible gem setups (up to our coding ability and computing power) are showed in the
https://github.com/gemforce-team/gemforce/tree/master/results
folder, where you can see them and read the README for further informations.
You are invited to post your results and comments at
http://armorgames.com/community/thread/12361363/gccs-new-gem-recipes-are-finished-and-ready-to-use/
I'll try to read them when I have time and answer if needed.
The results are generated with the programs you find in all the other folders, using the full tables I have in my hard disk; if someone wishes I can make them availlable, but the reduced tables in the gem_tables folder should be enough for 99% of the user base.
Attached you find the summary tables, I did them because of my love for data and graphs, someone else may like it.
I would also like to thank borthelcash and Astroshak for all the heavy testing and for the input from the "real world" of the game, instead of my theoretical point of view.
Gemforce's original goals are completed
At this point all the core work is done, we have programs for every kind of useful gem/setup.
Some results still lack polish, will be fixed later.
Updates will follow with a build/query system that will avoid doing all the hard calculation every time we wish to retrieve a result.
Finished amped gems speccing
We now know everything about amped gems speccing, hurray!
Now the next frontier is analyzing amped gems with two different combines.
Included is the summary table with some statistics on the best recipes.
Fast amped specces
New much more efficient amped speccing programs were completed, so we get tons of better results that you all can find in the appropriate folder.
Amped managems support
I'm really happy to announce that development for all un-amped gems and amped managems was completed.
I could keep on writing about features, but again, I'm the only one who'll ever actually read this...
Managem computation
Finally finished coding managem speccing and combining. Yay!
I also wanted to see what this button did, so enjoy the new version.
