Tmux alt binds doesn't work

Hi. How to make tmux alt binds work?

#alt binds
bind -n M-l select-pane -L
bind -n M-h select-pane -R
bind -n M-k select-pane -U
bind -n M-j select-pane -D
bind -n M-N switch-client -n
bind -n M-P switch-client -p

two things to try 1 unbind all of the default alt+number bindings so

keybind = alt+one=unbind
keybind = alt+two=unbind
... (do all the numbers 1 through 9)

if you are macos you might need

As @rhodes-b said, you'll need to modify your Ghostty configuration to unbind tmux keybinds that overlap with a Ghostty key bind, and possibly the macos-option-as-alt setting (you didn't specify an OS)
