No. This release contains o ly security fixes . Asus told me it would take t least one mo the to provide us new GPLs

Count the ET8 in the same situation. All my mesh nodes are down.

Oh, this is the exact same issue I'm having. Makes my entire system essentially unusable with this firmware.
I'd absolutely love to give this a try if a fix is made.

If I'm already running the 388.4 Alpha1 on my ET8s (it's running VERY well, very stable), should I skip this release and just wait for the next one? Doesn't look like there's any difference.

For the XT8 ZenWiFi units, you would use the RT-AX95Q file. The ET8 uses the RT-AXE95Q.

Having issues with the XT8 (RT-AX95Q). after flashing, none of my AiMesh nodes show up anymore. All of them are ethernet backhauled.
All units appear to "work" and can be re-flashed back to factory to regain functionality.
I tried every combination of upgrade "order" nodes first, then main, then the other way, etc.
Attempting to login to one of the nodes just shows that it cannot find the host node.

Are they in Mesh mode or AP mode? I've read that there is a known issue with units not being recognized if in AP mode.

I have had very similar issues with my XT8 nodes (wired backhaul, mesh mode). If I upgrade the 'master' node (AP) then upgrade the other nodes (mesh) they will work for some time (days/weeks) then one or nodes will fall offline and I will need to re-flash the firmware on the node(s) that have fallen offline (refuse to become part of the mesh).

They are. Wired backhaul. I would LOVE to switch to merlin as soon as a fix is made.

[ZEROTIER - needed]

Hi, thanks for your input and time spent....
I was looking for a way to install zerotier on this router with this FW but I failed. While it is possible to install amtm, there is no version for this router in the packages. Has anyone managed to run zerotier? Of course, tailscale works and that saves the situation for now, but zerotier would be a better solution for me.
